Sycuan Casino & Resort has a strong, established brand in San Diego, with large marketing partnerships with local business like the San Diego Padres. While supporting other paid media efforts, Sycuan wanted to integrate programmatic advertising into their media mix to expand their digital footprint in a more sophisticated way. They were looking to link the digital ecosystem to how it affected visits to the casino and resort.
Solution
Through the end of 2019, after a 4-month initial run, we were able to drive a 20.8% incremental uplift in traffic, which equated to an estimated 1,028 additional visits to Sycuan. In addition to this, people who were exposed to our ads were 11% more likely to be repeat visitors to Sycuan. Furthermore, we were able to determine extensive demographic information from those responding to our ads, which have heavily influenced our planning and strategy as we move forward with a continued and expanded programmatic media partnership with Sycuan.
